Returns
Unopened Items
For unopened items, you may return them within 30 days. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment, minus any discounts, bank charges (usually 4%), shipping, and a 15% restocking fee. Return shipping fees apply.
If you received a ‘Free Shipping’ order, we will deduct the original shipping cost. The shipping cost would be applicable for both ways.
Please note there might be special circumstances where we might have had to ship from our international warehouse, in which case the original shipping cost from the international warehouse to the destination will be applicable. Return shipping cost, as applicable, from the customer's address to Optimal Breathing's warehouse will also be chargeable.
Store Credit
Beyond the initial 30 days, refunds are not available. However, within 45 days, you can opt for store credit, with shipping fees subtracted, as previously explained.
Opened Items
Turbo Oxygen System
For opened and unused items, refunds will be issued in the original form of payment, with the following deductions:
- Any applicable discounts
- Shipping charges
- Oxygen Reservoir Bag price: $899 for 900 Liter Bag and $699 for 500 Liter Bag
- 15% Restocking fee
- 4% Bank Charges

- Restocking fee for Oxygen Machine:
- If the machine is used for less than 50 hours, a 50% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- If the machine is used between 50 and 100 hours, a 75% restocking fee will apply.
- For machines used for more than 100 hours, unfortunately, we will not be able to issue any refund.
- 4% Bank Charges
- After 1 year from the purchase date, Oxygen Reservoir Bags and Turbo Mega-Flow Masks cannot be returned. Oxygen Machines, if in perfect working condition, can be returned, and a payment of $150 will be issued.
Oxygen Machines
Here’s the return policy for Machines:
- If the machine is unused, a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund, along with 4% for bank charges and any applicable discounts and shipping fees.
- If the machine is used for less than 50 hours, a 50% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund, along with 4% for bank charges and any applicable discounts and shipping fees.
- If the machine is used between 50 and 100 hours, a 75% restocking fee will apply along with 4% for bank charges, and any applicable discounts and shipping fees.
- For machines used for more than 100 hours, unfortunately, we will not be able to issue any refund.
Oxygen Reservoir Bags
For Oxygen Reservoir Bag returns, we will accept the return only if the package is unopened. Once the package is opened, unfortunately, we will not be able to process the return.
Since external factors are beyond our control, any leakage issues beyond 7 days should be addressed using our Patch Kit ($14.95 + shipping). If the issue persists, it may be time to purchase a new bag.
However, if the bag expands due to a faulty pressure relief valve, we will provide a replacement free of charge—you’ll only need to cover the shipping cost.
Return Instructions
- Contact us at hello@optimalbreathing.com for an authorization number before returning items.
- Securely package items in sturdy packaging.
- Indicate whether you prefer an exchange or a refund.
- Include your name, address, telephone number, and reason for return/refund.
- For optimal service and tracking, use USPS Priority or UPS Ground Shipping.
- International transactions - Customers making purchases from outside of United States will have to abide by the laws of the land. Optimal Breathing will not be responsible for any import restrictions.
Non-Returnable Products
Certain categories of goods are exempt from the return policy.
- Nutritionals
- Books
- CDs
- Downloadable products
There are situations where partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
- Items not in their original condition, damaged, or with missing parts not due to our error
- Items returned beyond 30 days after the date of purchase.
Refunds
Upon receipt and examination of your return, we will notify you via email regarding the receipt of your returned item. You will also be informed of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a specific timeframe.
International transactions
Customers making purchases from outside of United States will have to abide by the laws of the land. Optimal Breathing will not be responsible for any import restrictions.
Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)
Should you not have received your refund yet, we recommend first checking your bank account. Subsequently, contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before the refund is officially posted. Following that, reach out to your bank, considering there could be a processing time before the refund is reflected. If these steps have been taken and you still haven't received your refund, please get in touch with us at hello@optimalbreathing.com.
Sale Items (if applicable)
Only regularly priced items are eligible for refunds; sale items are not.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please email us at hello@optimalbreathing.com.
Shipping
The customer bears the responsibility of covering shipping costs for returning the item. Please note shipping costs are non-refundable. In the event of a refund, the return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
The timeframe for the delivery of your exchanged product might vary depending on your location.
For items exceeding a value of $75, it is advisable to consider utilizing a trackable shipping service or acquiring shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee the receipt of your returned item.
