Carola Speads: Most Good Breathing Teachers Live Extra Long Lives.

Good breathing teachers live extra long lives. Carola Speads, RPT a student of the Ilsa Gindler school of dance in Germany, quietly taught breathing work for 82 years. She was still delivering sessions 3 months before she passed away in New York City 1999 at nearly 99 years old. She was and is in my opinion a leading example of a breathing coach's ability to live long lives, stay at the simple heart of the matter and not get lost in the glitz of energetic zeal and overload which is often the source for so much of stress and distancing from one's inner self.
Her work was handed down to me through her book Ways To Better Breathing and in person sessions with Margaret Leong, RPT, the only person to have joined her in multiple person workshops. She addresses the very foundation of the breath; what I call the Natural Breathing Reflex. Her breathing the breath of life into man was a gift straight from God.
Bless you Carola and Margaret.
