Improved digestion

I have been taking these enzymes on and off for over 10 years. I personally preferred them when they came in the dark glass bottle.
I sometimes take 3 on an empty stomach and find that they clean out my system pretty reliably. I take 1 or 2 with my heaviest meal and they are excellent at helping with digestion. So much so that I find that my appetite is reduced.
I started taking these for weight loss, but found that due to the improved digestion, I had more weight gain - not alot but it was there. For this reason, I take them sporadically because I cannot afford to put on more weight.
It may well be that the hunger reducing effects may offset the weight gain effects over time but it alarmed me too much to continue taking them regularly.
