Ginger root is aromatic and bitter.

The aromatic compounds:

  • Increase the production of digestive fluids and enzymes to treat

  • Lower blood sugar
  • Lower serum cholesterol.

The bitter compounds:

Ginger is an excellent herbal source of trace minerals especially silicon, magnesium and manganese.
